#13-1 Cleaning, Painting, remodeling home, Frank's birthday, Yuma

If you double click on a picture it will enlarge the view.

New floor in Living room and hallway and new paint too. Carpet is gone! Hallway and living room all match. Nice and clean!

Guest room got a face lift also. New color and new bed. This is the “antique” room. Love it.
We listed the house with a vacation rental agent hoping we could get someone in for short term while we were in Yuma. Didn’t happen. So house stood empty for a couple of months.
Bye, Bye home, see you in a couple of months.
We made it to Sun Dance RV park in time to celebrate Frank’s birthday with all our friends in Yuma. Frank’s daughters sent 85 balloons to celebrate his birthday. We had a lot of fun that evening. So nice to be among our winter “family” in the foothills of Yuma!

We missed Eldon’s 3rd birthday on Jan 31, but with modern technology we get to see a happy boy with his birthday cake!

Our friends, Don and Judy, invited us to go with them on a 4 wheel drive to a place called “Valley of the Names.” We went with a bunch of other couples. What a ride. I had no idea this place even existed.
Of course, I had to do my name and date it for posterity.
Some of the “pictures” were quite elaborate.

The oldest one we found was 1997.

We had stopped at Subway and bought sandwiches to take with us, so had an picnic in the sand.

The traffic was light! Amazing though how many 4 wheel drive rigs we did see as we sat enjoying our lunch. It was a fun day with good people!
