On Wednesday we went into Progresso, Mexico for our haircuts and lunch. Of course we did a little shopping too.
Frank took my picture while Ruben was cutting my hair. The camera was on video, so I hope you can all see it.
On Saturday the park had a "patio" sale. So Frank and I set out a little table in front of the coach and sold walking sticks, beaded lanyards and crocheted place mats made out of grocery sacks. I was amazed at what we sold. And it was fun to talk to all the people. Besides it kept us at the coach so we didn't go around and buy something from the other people who set up. The last time the park had a "patio" sale we bought a couple of stadium seats--then used them when we went to Hildalgo for the Christmas light tour and the show, which was outside with bleacher seating. Now they are stored in the back of the Suzuki!
We are getting all our South Texas chores done before we leave. We had to watch the weather because the wind was really blowing hard the day before we had planned to leave. But we were very fortunate to have a window of one day that the wind died down for us to head out.
Of course, we left at the crack of 10:30 am. That's about our regular check out time. We had almost 3 months of staying in one place, to pack up. It's amazing how much stuff you accumulate even in 3 months. We tried to keep to our motto of one thing in, one thing out, but I don't think we made it.
